Upadoz 45mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to manage various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions in adults. It belongs to the class of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors and works by reducing the activity of certain enzymes involved in immune system signalling. By targeting abnormal immune activity, Upadacitinib helps relieve symptoms such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and pain. Its oral tablet form makes it more convenient compared to injectable biologics, offering long-term disease control and improved quality of life. However, regular monitoring of blood counts, liver function, and cholesterol is necessary during treatment, as it may increase the risk of infections such as tuberculosis, herpes zoster, or pneumonia. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice, and patients with a history of heart disease, cancer, blood clots, or chronic infections should inform their doctor before starting therapy.

• Pregnancy: Upadacitinib may harm the unborn baby. Do not use during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive.
• Breast Feeding: Avoid use while breastfeeding, as it may pass into breast milk and harm the infant.
• Lungs: This medication may sometimes cause breathing difficulties, cough, or shortness of breath. Report such symptoms immediately to your doctor.
• Liver: Inform your doctor if you have liver problems before starting treatment.
• Alcohol: Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, as it may worsen liver-related side effects.
• Driving: Dizziness and fatigue may occur in some patients. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience these effects
